ATA conveys the first Diamond Aircraft en New Caledonia
The Professionnal Syndicate of Marine Pilots from New Caledonia (SPPMNC – www.pilotage-maritime.nc) is about to welcome in Noumea the first DA 42-VI.
Ordered in early 2017, this aircraft will ease the transport of boat pilots around the island. The DA 42-VI left the austrian manufactory last friday to be conveyed to New Caledonia.
The conveying to Noumea is planned on 9 days and 85 hours of flight.
The scheduled itinerary goes by Georgia, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, New Guinea, and finally New Caledonia. To lead this long flight, a highly skilled pilot from the factory trained to this kind of missions, but also the professionnal pilots of the SPPMNC, who will share this fantastic travel experience.
This aircraft, first of a further serie, will be maintained on the Island by the Air Loyauté Workshop www.air-loyaute.nc) which becomes (after a proper training of its technical staff) accredited to maintain Diamond Aircrafts and Austro Engine Motors, for the first time on the island.
